About Us

Our story begins on Easter Sunday 2014, and as flowers began to bloom upon the trees so did our love for one another. Since then, our passion for each other and our thirst for adventure have taken us on many trips around the world. 14 states (US), 7 countries and 3 continents, to be exact. It was on one such trip to Alaska, underneath the dancing celestial display of the Aurora Borealis, that Michael knelt in the snow to ask Rebecca the very important question. Of course, she said YES!

About Michael

Michael was born and rasied in Naperville, Illinois, about 30 miles outside of Chicago. His love for aviation led him to study Aviation Management at The Ohio State University. He is a certified pilot, however, Rebecca has not (yet) plucked up the courage and flown with him. He went on to complete an MBA at Indiana University in Supply Chain Management. His loves (besides Rebecca) include sweet potatoes, rugby, family and travelling.

About Rebecca

Rebecca was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She had a love for biology from an early age and studied Molecular and Cellular Biology at Glasgow University, Scotland where she also completed her Ph.D. Her career has taken her to live in many places including, London, Japan, Switzerland and the United States. Her loves (besides Michael) include photography, tea, family and travelling.
